QUINCY, Mass., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise NewsMedia LLC tomorrow launches the Wrap, a weekly, shopping-oriented publication mailed free of charge to more than 165,000 homes in the South of Boston region.
Filled with tips on shopping, news about hot products and services, and other items of consumer interest, the Wrap replaces the "Ledger Values" and "Enterprise Values" publications as a weekly wrap for merchants' advertising circulars.
"We're very proud of this new publication which is, in fact, our largest circulation weekly newspaper," said Kirk Davis, president of Enterprise NewsMedia. "We've worked hard to develop a publication that people of all ages and all walks of life will look forward to receiving in their mailbox every week."
Edited by Karen Buckingham, prize-winning former Sunday editor of the Woonsocket (R.I.) Call, the Wrap will each week focus on a broad topic, "sliced" from several angles to make for a fun read. For instance, the inaugural issue has a theme of "spring" and contains consumer-oriented information on convertibles, swimming pools, chocolate flower pots, and bug-themed jewelry.
For businesses, the Wrap provides an opportunity for those who advertise in The Patriot Ledger of Quincy and The Enterprise of Brockton to extend the reach of their advertising to an additional 165,000 non-subscriber homes in selected zip codes throughout the market.
Beginning next week, the Wrap will be expanded to contain real estate focus pages, one of several Enterprise NewsMedia real estate initiatives. This week, The Ledger is expanding distribution of its market-leading "Housing Extra" section to 200 high-traffic locations throughout the South Shore. Next month, the company will introduce a major expansion and rebranding of its real estate website.
Enterprise NewsMedia LLC of Quincy is the predominant source of local news and information in the South of Boston region. The privately held company publishes two daily newspapers; The Patriot Ledger of Quincy and The Enterprise of Brockton; 23 weekly and bi-weekly newspapers, including the flagship Old Colony Memorial in Plymouth; and the Plymouth Guide for tourists. In addition, Enterprise NewsMedia operates the SouthofBoston.com website and the recently launched Wicked Local hyper-local websites.
