New Delhi: In the age of blended learning, Apple’s annual educational offering has gone live on its India Store Online, where those who purchase a Mac or iPad that qualify for college or university will receive a free AirPod. plus six free months of Apple Music.
The “Back to School” offer is available to current and newly accepted college/university students, parents who purchase for them, and teachers and staff at all levels and is available in the special education section of the Apple Store Online, the company announced.
Eligible customers can also protect their purchase with 20% off Apple Care+, the company said in a statement.
The offer is available from June 24 to September 22 and eligible devices are iPad Air 5th Generation, iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd Generation and 12.9-inch 5th Generation.
Other Apple devices on offer are the MacBook Air M1, MacBook Air M2 (coming next month), MacBook Pro, and 24-inch iMac.
Customers can upgrade to AirPods Gen 3 at Rs 6,400 and AirPods Pro for Rs 12,200.
With the education discount, the MacBook Air (M1) starts at Rs 89,900 while the MacBook Air (M2) starts at Rs 109,900.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro starts from Rs 119,900 and the 14-inch MacBook Pro from Rs 175,410.
While the iPad Air starts from Rs 50,780, the iPad Pro starts from Rs 68,300 with the education discount.
