In addition to green juices and black turtlenecks, the founder of Theranos Elizabeth Holmes was known for her signature lipstick, among other things. To get the outrageous pout, The stallchief makeup artist Jorjee Douglas used Lancôme Rouge Drama Ink lipstick in the shades “French Touch” and “French Bisou” on Amanda Seyfriedwho plays the disgraced founder in the new hit Hulu series.
Not only was the color combination and intentionally uneven application of the liquid lipstick brilliant to portray Holmes on screen, the non-drying, semi-matte, ultra-pigmented lipstick was low-maintenance on set. and did not smudge when Seyfried had to wear a mask. We don’t know about you, but keeping the lipstick intact while repeating a mask is a real art form.
