Background:

SABIT is the U.S. Department of Commerce’s industry-specific training program designed to train executives and scientists from Eurasia and other parts of the world. Since 1990, the program has trained more than 7,000 professionals by providing them with the opportunity to learn about US industry sectors and its regulations, establish business relationships, and learn about cutting-edge technologies and services.

Each industry-specific program trains up to 20 professionals for two weeks in the United States. SABIT sessions on market-based business concepts, complemented by site visits and meetings with business and industry leaders, allow trainees to deepen their business knowledge and skills.

This year, SABIT will host two training programs for supply chain professionals:

  • October 1-15, Cold chain for Eurasia
  • October 29-November 11, Eurasia Supply Chain and Logistics

To learn more about previous programs and experiences, please join us on June 23 at 9:00 a.m. EST/5:00 p.m. Baku time. Registration for this online briefing is OBLIGATORY. Please register on [email protected] by EOB on June 22, 2022.
